Since ContelUSA is out of business, I have no place to get the firmware for it. Tried to back it up but it seems that some of the images are corrupt. Never got the system.img. Tried the Wayback Machine (
) but they only keep pdf files and txt documents. I have a Sophix TAB-740G with a RK3168 Dual core and 7" screen and realtek wifi. If anyone has the stock firmware for this tablet and could upload it, I would sure appreciate it. :D
Hopefully someone out there has the files archived somewhere on their PC or a DVD. Right now It is so bricked that I have to put it in MASKROM mode because of a failed flash. The tablet had a bad usb port and a bad battery. They are now fixed but need firmware.
Right now everything I try to flash for it says it fails boot download. Read that you will get this if you are upgrading you need to flash stock back to it. :eek:
