How many people with the Verizon 2nd Gen E, unlocked to use with GSM, have managed to get the built in hotspot feature to work? I've been told it SHOULD work with my carrier, as long as the APN has "dun" added to the type field.
Some people said it never works, yet some have said it works if you launch the Verizon shortcut first to it. Others have said it works if you enable BT tether first, and yet others have reported it just works out of the box with no additional changes made. At this point, I'd like to get to the bottom of this. It doesn't work at all on mine, and I'd like to see why it does for some and not for others.
Please post if you've tried it and whether or not it worked for you below, along with which firmware you were running if you can. Thanks!
