16:9 to 4:3 HDMI Output

Hello I am looking for a way to change a series of minix android boxes we use for digital signage for 16:9 to 4:3 through the HDMI. I am thinking build prop but am unsure as it seems only DPI adjustment is available. Is this something someone knows how to adjust or is willing to take it on$$?
