SD card problems, card is always corrupt no matter what I do.

I just bought a brand new Samsung class 10 sdcard, and my phone always says it's corrupted. Twrp recognizes it fine, my computer does, but the OS does not. Actually, with a root file explorer, I can find the sdcard under /mnt/ , copy files to it and see them in twrp, but other than that it's unusable.

Any suggestions?
