Google Play Music Now Lets You Play Songs and Albums Directly from Search Results

Google Play Music's collection of songs grows with every passing day, and while this is great for music-lovers, it can also make finding the exact song you want fairly difficult at times.

Thanks to a new server-side update that's being pushed out to the Google Play Music app on Android, songs and albums will now be listed above recommended search phrases when you're trying to look for that perfect tune. With these new listings, you'll also have the option to listen to said song or album directly form the search results with an in-line play button.

This is a feature that Google's been playing around with in the Web version of Play Music for a few months now, and it's great to see it make its way over to the Android app. It's not the most revolutionary thing in the world, but there's no doubt that it'll prove to be a great-time saver as you'll no longer have to sift through a bunch of search results for songs you don't care about in the slightest.

Versions 7.9 and 7.10 of Google Play Music appear to be receiving the new update, so as long as you're updated to the latest version that's available on the Play Store, you should have access to it.
