Leaked Renders of the ZenFone 4 Selfie, and ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro

We've been hearing about the ZenFone 4 from ASUS for most of this year and now some new renders give us a look at multiple variants of the device. Back in July of this year, ASUS did a limited launch of the ZenFone 4 Max in Russia. We got to see the device from multiple angles and while most of the specs lined up with a mid-range smartphone, the 5,000mAh capacity battery really stood out to us. We thought we would hear more from ASUS with this launch, but things stayed relatively quiet until now.

Less than a week ago we saw specs and renders of the regular ASUS ZenFone 4 leak to the public. We learned the Taiwanese handset maker had equipped the ZenFone 4 with 5.5″ FHD AMOLED panel and a 12MP main sensor and a 8MP sensor with a 120-degree wide angle lens setup on the back of the device. It will have 4GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage and the Snapdragon 630 SoC. The leak also mentioned the Snapdragon 660 SoC as well, but we didn't get any additional details on when that chip will come in the device.

So that's two different variants of the ZenFone 4 from ASUS that has been leaked. Now, a couple of other renders have been revealed that give us a look into what will be two additional variants of the device. ASUS has a history of releasing multiple types of their ZenFone series so we were expecting to see something like this. If the leaks are true, we now get a look at the ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie as well as the ASUS ZenFone 4 Selfie Pro.

Sadly, we don't have any details about specs, pricing or a release date for these selfie-centric variants. However, the renders do show that both will have a dual camera setup on the front of the device. We'll just have to wait and see how ASUS takes advantage of these additional front-facing cameras.
