To add to the ever-growing list of devices unofficially receiving Android Oreo, XDA Senior Member lubik1 has released an unofficial test build of AOSP Android Oreo for the Sony Xperia X. F0r now, the only confirmed features not working are the call speaker and the 20MP and 8MP cameras. Senior Member lubik1 does say that there may be more features broken and that if you face a bootloop, simply reflashing it without gapps should fix it. For now, it seems like a functional first port of Android Oreo for the device, letting you at least see the newest of Android for yourself.
