The BQ Aquaris X and X Pro were announced over a year ago, but they're still getting updates (as every Android phone should). Back in February, Android 8.1 Oreo was available in the beta channel. They were one of the first non-Pixel devices to get a release of Android 8.1. Now, a couple months later, the official update is rolling out.
Despite being two different models, these devices are mostly the same. They have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 processor, 5.2-inch FUll HD displays, 16MP rear cameras, 8MP front cameras, and 3100 mAh batteries. The difference is the X Pro has 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the regular X has 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. They also look aesthetically different.
BQ Support has posted support pages for the update for both phones. Click the links below for more information. Keep your head up for the OTA update to be arriving soon.
