A feature that originated in Motorola smartphones but later made its way into AOSP with Nexus devices, Ambient Display is now popping up on the latest Android Nougat Concept Build for the Sony Xperia X (dated February 2nd). As a reminder, Ambient Display is a feature which wakes the device when new notifications are posted or when the user picks up their phone.
