The alert slider on OnePlus phones is one of the features that sets them apart from other phones. However, the alert slider on the OnePlus 3, OnePlus 3T, OnePlus 5, and OnePlus 5T works differently than the OnePlus 6. On the older devices, the top position is Do Not Disturb, the middle is Priority, and the bottom position is Ring. On the OnePlus 6, the top is Do Not Disturb, the middle is Vibrate, and the bottom is Ring. It's useful, but it does leave many wondering how to do things like schedule Do Not Disturb mode. There are some built-in options that OnePlus added in OxygenOS 5.1.6, but they're not as robust as stock Android. Thanks to "Do Not Disturb – DND – ZenMode" on XDA Labs and the Google Play Store, you can restore this functionality easily on your OnePlus smartphone. You don't even need root!
Access Stock Do Not Disturb functionality on the OnePlus 6/5T/5/3T/3
Firstly, you'll need to download the app from either XDA Labs or the Google Play Store. Both are below.

Now just launch the application and tap the big center button. This will bring you to the stock Do Not Disturb settings which are part of Android.

Now, compare the available options to what OnePlus allows you to do.

By using the app mentioned above, you'll be able to schedule it based on the day of the week along with blocking visual disturbances too. You can even have it automatically enable for events in your calendar! It's a whole lot more functionality than OnePlus lets you do, but there is one caveat. When using these settings instead of the OxygenOS options, there will be no icon active in the status bar. Do Not Disturb is still enabled, but when enabled via these scheduling options it won't be visibly enabled. You'll have to go back into the app to check whether you've got it enabled or not for that point in time. Sadly, there doesn't appear to be a workaround for that at the moment.
