Samsung tab 3 keeps turning off, recommendations ??

I have a Samsung tab 3 8.0 but after going through airport security coming back my device had to be scanned twice by the airline as it was in my bag and ever since it has acted up.

My device battery is failing and the only way i can boot up my device is to take the back off and disconnect the battery and reconnect it.

It has died out several times since so was thinking is there a long term solution or is it worth getting a new battery for as i have had it for many years.

Do you have any recommendations for a new Samsung tab with a screen at least 8 inch and easily modified to remove bloatware.

problem uninstalling myfiles - help

i rooted my s6 android 6.0.1 and uninstalled myfiles app cause it's lame, however i found out too late that there's an android features in setting->storage->explore that uses it.
i want to make it work again, by reinstalling myfiles or by any other means. can you help?

tbhe exact error is com.sec.android.app.myfiles has stopped.

GPS unlock

Hello

I was recommended to ask you the following question about my problem.

I got a GPS device "Telesystem ts 8511" running on "windows ce 5.0." I tried to update maps on it but it wouldn't let me, beacuse of licenses. So I tried to unlock it with "Miopocket". But in the process I have formatted SD card on which there was quite a lot of factory installed navigation app and navigation didn't work anymore, nor did Miopocket (couldn't find a way to instal it). So I found a way to rest the device by using files provided by manufacturer on it's website. that procedure lead me to point where device is asking for SD card I formatted earlier.

I'm triying to get to the os in the device and install some other navigation app on it.

I would really appreciate if anyone would have any solution to this problem.

HI - General help about build numbers please!

Hi guys,

I bought a phone some kind of Galaxy J something (not too fancy for my grandma) and the build number has a persons name in it ("Daniel Mouyal") - even thogh the phone cam out of the box with nylons on it.

Can anyone tell me what does this mean?

[Z2][ROOT][6.0.1] Fix for Lame RAM Management on Marshmallow

After flashing marshmallow I noticed that the RAM Management sucked. On lollipop I could keep qbout 10 apps and not have them reload but on marshmallow it kept only about 3 apps.

This was a disgrace on a phone that had 3GB RAM. So I went in search of a soulution and found one.

First of all you will need this app called RAM manager Pro. (The Dev. Also has a free version on the play store.)

Ram Manager Pro

Install it and grant Root access.
Slide out the menu from the left and go into the tab called "RAM"

Then in ram settings select RAM tuner and then usong the slider below set the percemtages as you want. (Mine is at 75% multitasking)
That's it you should see lollipop like RAM management on your device.

P.S. you might wanna select set on boot once your done.

I don't know if anyone else has noticed this problem but I had it and now don't.

Black screen issue after crash, recovery not working

While fiddling around in some game, the device goes out due to empty battery (without warning beforehand).
Battery should have lasted several more hours, but the battery status is at 0% so I have to wait a few
minutes before being able to restart. On restart, device boots up normally. (weird: my background got replaced by
stock image). After entering PIN, a few dozen error messages appear (something stopped working), after
clicking 'ok' on the last message, screen goes black (not out).
Next restart, same same, thoug now after maybe a dozend error messages (which I am clicking happily away)
somewhere I spot the message "Android updating"..... black screen.

Boot to recovery:

AP Fastboot Flash Mode (S)

Device is UNLOCKED. Status Code: 3

(BTW: What is status code 3?)

Selecting any option (except 'Barcode', which works nicely) the Moto G boots up 'normally'. No recovery screen, nothing.
Straight to "Warning, Bootloader unlocked", same same, .... black screen.

I tried exposing front camera to bright light because some people seem to have problems with
automated brightness control. That's not it.

The history of that device:

Stock rom
-> some things I don't remember, prob some KitKat 4.4.4 custom roms
-> OTA update (yay, soft brick \o/ )
-> stock 5.0.2 according to tutorial of same hero from around here
(of which for the most part, ofc, I don't know what the hell I am doing by typing all that)

Now i tried flashing new Marshmellow 6.0 roms according to instructions by heroes

which cmd and the console in phone bootloader acknowledge one by one, no errors.
Upon reboot, same same, .... black screen.

Then I tried to get rid of that (stock?) bootloader by installing TWRP

mfastboot.exe flash recovery twrp-3.0.2.1-titan.img

but the next time I enter recovery, I'm back to that stock bootloader.

It seems the device is writing all instructions into the Nether.

Things I don't want to read:

- hard bricked
- Motorolla doesn't care about unlocked phones
- you're f*cked

Everything else will be greatly appreciated :) Any ideas what to try next?
