[GUIDE] Redmi Note 3 All Available TWRPs Explained & Their Usage

There are multiple versions of Team Win Recovery Project for the Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon. Many new users are confused as to which version of TWRP to flash after unlocking the bootloaders officially or unofficially. Here is a detailed explanation for every version of the TWRP & use cases for the same. I will keep this thread updated as per the need arises. Do let me know if I have forgot to mention any use case.

TWRP Versions

Official TWRP : Link
The base version of TWRP, used to backup, restore firmware, flash zips, etc
Users with official unlocked bootloaders should preferrably use Cofface TWRP for best results.
Users with unofficial unlocked bootloaders should strictly not use this TWRP

Cofface TWRP : Link
Patches boot.img automatically after flashing recovery MIUI ROM Zip.
Users with official unlocked bootloaders should use this TWRP only.
Users with unofficial unlocked bootloaders should strictly not use this TWRP.

Safe TWRP v2 : Link
Prevents hardbrick while flashing recovery MIUI ROM Zip.
Users with official unlocked bootloaders should preferrably use Cofface TWRP for best results.
Users with unofficial unlocked bootloaders should strictly use this TWRP only.

Alka TWRP : Link
Used to backup all partitions before flashing CM13 based on "M" firmware.
Users with both official & unofficial unlocked bootloaders can use this TWRP.
