As plenty of us know, G930F and G930FD have the same structure and they both share the same firmware (yes, the firmware for G930F is also for G930FD). That is also the case with our older brother, the Galaxy S7 Edge G935F/FD.
The Duos variant will remain, well, a dual sim one even when flashing the G930F's firmware.
I just found out what file to modify for the duos variant to convert it to a single sim one. However, I've encountered something that prevents me to continue.
I don't know if this file is also present for the single sim variant and if it can be modified for them to obtain dual sim capability.
So, here, let's start the discussion.
So there we go, maybe someone has better ideas, you can freely share it here.

So, here, let's start the discussion.
- First of all, I have TWRP installed, have dm-veriety triggered, decrypted /data partition, on Custom Rom (Echoe Eom).
- If you have a root browser (ie Root Explorer, ES file explorer, etc.) go and browse the /efs partition and open up factory.prop
- There is only one line there, the ro.miltisim.simslotcount=2
- I tried changing its value to "1" and reboot. Upon reboot my phone will display a sim card mismatch error and that the sim card settings has been changed from dual sim to single sim and needed a factory reset (see photo).
- After accepting a factory reset, my phone will just do a normal boot and the factory.prop will revert back to its original value.
- I've tried several things, doing a manual factory reset through TWRP after modifying factory.prop (didn't work)
- Flashing a stock rom after modifying factory.prop didn't work too.
- Flashing a stock rom, flashing TWRP, rooting, enabling system modification, modifying factory.prop, reflashing stock recovery, and doing a factory reset still doesn't work.
So there we go, maybe someone has better ideas, you can freely share it here.
