First you need a older phone that was on your account or a dummie sprint phone
Activate it on the website to replace your current device you want insurance on
Wait 1 to 3 hours for everything to take (If it doesnt right away you wont be able to go on, just wait trust me took it 3 hours for me)
go back to activate a new device on the web site
make sure your dummie phone shows as current
add new device again but add your phone you want insurance
in add ons as your picking services, choose to add the total protection program (Give it another 1 to 3 hours but youll notice the 13 dollar insurance has been added and you can use it anytime now)
Normally after 60 days on a new device you cant add insurance but if you do this right you can add it anytime. I did it all in the same day and sprint is replacing my phone even though I have't paid for the 13 a month yet.
