How to use checklist from watch?

I've heard people mention using a checklist from their watch, and I'd like to know how to do it. I've looked at the playstore and there are many, but not always clear if they work with watch. I'd especially like to use "OK Google" to add to a list, and then be able to manually check them off on my watch, without bringing out phone.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!
