Can the unlock via fingerprint still be used on an ENCRYPTED Op2 with Oxygenos 3?

I would like to encrypt my OP2 with Oxy 3. I would like to know if I can still wake up the phone with my fingerprint, or use it to unlock the initial boot without having to enter my encryption password every time.

I haven't found any thread covering this yet.
